Clone task from its engine folder

Hello.
I'm trying out bvckup2 in order to use it for my company backup plan and it sounds promising. Still I have a lot of tasks to set up and I'm using the clone option through the GUI.

I'm wondering if there's a way of duplicating the engine folder of one task (for example folder engine\backup-0117) renaming it backup-0118 and modifying in the new settings.ini the lines conf._description, conf.src, conf.dst & conf.ui.position ?
On the next reboot will bvckup find the new task ?

Thank you.

Correct. What you described will work exactly that way.

Hello Alex.
Another question about tasks organisation.

Is there a way, other than drag and drop, to organize the visual/graphical order of tasks ?
Maybe through a .ini file ?

Thank you.

Sure thing. Everything is stored in one .ini or another :)

Job's UI list position is stored in its settings.ini as "conf.ui.position". The smaller the value the higher it appears on the list. In order to force-sort jobs you will want to add an _override_ for this key [1] and then either reload all jobs [2] or just restart the program.
