May 25, 2021Offering guidance on error resolution falls quite a bit outside of the competence of the program. There are literally thousands of possible failure codes and an equally large number of possible causes.
I can tell you a bit about this particular failure - "Cyclic redundancy check failed" - because I happened to look into it on another project.
It is supposed to come from the drive firmware and indicate that there's a bad physical block that cannot be salvaged or recovered using disk's standard ECC mechanism . It's basically an indication of a (possibly critical) hardware issue that the drive failed to resolve on its own.
You may want to check your drive SMART status and run SMART self-tests. If you don't know what it is or how to use it,  will be a good starting point.
