Release 68

Alex Pankratov :

Changes

Re-added support for 64-bit versions of XP and Windows 2003. This involved rebuilding the program with earlier version of the Microsoft toolset and forfeiting some of the newer features. However latter worked out to be not a big deal as the only useful new feature was static analysis tool and it can still be used by temporarily switching between the toolsets.

Fixes

1. Resolved a couple of issues with editing Periodic backup settings. In particular, changes to the backup interval were not observed until the next run or until backup was disabled and re-enabled. This is fixed now.

2. Added an isolation wrapper around Windows' native "Select Folder" dialog as this beaut apparently can crash on a whim on some setups.

- All in all, it's just a maintenance release.

Hi Alex!  Beta 68 is acting like a regular release in TRIAL mode (3-days left to activate)... is this by design, meaning it's really not a BETA?

Thanks!

What does it say in Help / About ?

Hey Alex... very strange.  I had re-installed Beta 67 right before posting due to the impending activation requirement and before my post.

I just re-installed Beta 68 and the Help/About says it's BETA licensed... I have no idea what happened.

I'll use my Time Machine to go backwards and re-investigate to see waht was going on... sorry for the scare  :-)

I believe I got this BETA 68 copy from the bottom of the Bvckup 2 HOME page rather than through a program update.

Any ideas...?

Yeah, that's the production version. See how it says "Release 68". Unsupported beta would've said "Beta 68". You messed somewhere with downloading the update.

Thanks, Alex... I'm back on the BETA (no idea where the RELEASE came from)...
