Network Backup

It would appear that there are some problems with backing up to a Network drive such as WD My World from a fixed hard drive.  I am also experiencing a 'loss of connection' when instigating a backup from a Home group location to a NAS drive on the LAN!  It runs for a few seconds then I get a message that the network location is no longer available as well as my AVG app popping up saying it has seen another network location and is about to change!

Has this issue yet been resolved?

Sounds like a pure network issue to me - either a flaky connection / wifi router / switch that caves in under a load or an IP conflict. If you provide the exact details I might be able to comment further, but there are no known issues of that sort with the app itself.

Its a known issue with WD My Book World network drive:

You might consider returning the WD My Book World and spend a little more for a Synology.
